THANKS: St. Brendan’s Hurling Club Chairman Justin Horgan would like to thank everybody who has helped in any way towards achieving the dream of winning Senior and Minor Co. Hurling Championships this year. He wishes to pay tribute to all the players who worked so hard all year, to the senior, minor & U-21 team managements, and to all the juvenile mentors who do such great work with all the underage squads. Thanks to all our sponsors who provided us with such assistance this year, our Lotto sellers, ticket buyers and the Lotto co-ordinators who do such valuable work every year. A special word of thanks to all the St. Brendan’s committee members who have helped the Club all year, field maintenance personnel, all who wash and look after all the various teams jerseys, fundraising teams, catering crew, local media, and our loyal supporters. Our hurling year continues with a Co. Minor League final on Sunday and we wish them the best of luck. Finally the Club would like to wish everybody a very Happy Christmas and a healthy and enjoyable New Year.

CONGRATULATIONS TO U12 hurler Padraig O Sullivan, Tubrid who won an award for his road safety picture which is now included in the 2014 calendar. KERRY SPORTS STAR SPECIAL AWARDS sponsored by Rentokil Initial will take place on Friday 21st February in the Malton Hotel, Killarney. 24 sports will be recognised and 3 nominees from each sport have been named. St. Brendan's have two nominees for the hurling award John Egan and Darren Dineen and they will be joined by Abbeydorney's Brendan O Leary. One of these three will receive the hurling award which will be decided by an independent panel of judges. The night begins at 7.30pm with a photocall followed by a 4 course meal, presentation of awards, music, etc. Tickets are €35 available from organiser Ken O Day, Killarney 0872048677 or directly from the Malton Hotel.
LOTTO DRAW 17/12/13: The St. Brendan's Hurling Club / Ardfert G.A.A. lotto Jackpot was €11,800. The numbers drawn were 3, 6, 14, 18. There was no winner. The draw took place in Kate Browne's Pub.
