This weeks jackpot is €2,200.  Our Annual Golf Classic Fundraiser takes place this weekend, from Good Friday to Easter Monday at the Ardfert Golf Club, your support would be greatly appreciated.  It is teams of 4 at €80 per team 4-Ball Am-Am.  There are some fantastic prizes on offer and Time Sheets are now open so please ring Ardfert Golf Club directly on 7134744 to reserve a time.

Offaly denied Kerry promotion to Division 1B on Saturday evening last in Thurles, but Kerry can be proud of their performance and we wish them all the very best now in their preparations for the Christy Ring.

Senior Hurling Fixtures: our seniors were due to play their first game in the County League on Monday evening last against Crotta.

The Senior NK hurling championship takes place this Friday evening Good Friday 18th away to Lixnaw at 6.30pm, extra time playable if necessary.

The second round of the County League sees St. Brendans at home to Ballyduff on Bank Holiday Monday 21st at 4pm.

The Intermediate County League was due to begin on Wednesday evening 16th with an away game to Ballyheigue and on the 23rd at home to Kenmare.

The intermediate NK championship is due to take place on Friday May 16th away to Kilmoyley.

SCHOOL VISIT: Kerry hurlers John Egan & Kevin Orpen paid a visit to the staff & pupils of Ardfert N.S. last week with the Allianz National League 2B trophy & received a great welcome.  The young boys & girls were all very happy to get to see the cup & Principal Betty Stack paid tribute to the two past pupils of Ardfert NS in their great achievement with the Kerry hurlers winning Div. 2B of the League.  John also paid a visit to underage hurling training last Saturday morning with the cup before the Kerry hurlers made the journey to Thurles to play Offlay.  All the young hurlers wished them well and hope they do well in the Christy Ring cup competition.

Community Games: Soccer: The Ardfert/Kilmoyley soccer team played in Mastergeeha on Sunday 13th April at the area finals.  There were four other teams in their group: Ballyheigue, Glenflesk, Ballyduff & Anuascaul/Inch.  The boys played really well coming out stronger in some matches but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to progress to the final group.  Overall they scored 5 goals with the boys playing their hearts out.  However, this is still a young team who will still be underage next year.  Well done to all involved.  Team: Adam McDonagh, Adam Renai, Alex McGrath, Andrew Wallace, Danny Jeffers, Donal O’ Sullivan, Earnán Ferris, Fiachra O’ Connor, Fionán Egan, Jack Kearney, James Russell, Lorcan Ryan, Odhran Ferris, Odhran Pierce, Pádraig O’ Sullivan & Séan Brosnan.  Mentors: Artur Nowak, Paschal Hurley, Chems Renai & Liam O’ Connor.
