CO. SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP REPLAY St. Brendan's v Lixnaw goes ahead this Saturday at 5.30pm in Austin Stack Park. All looking forward to a better game this weekend so Good Luck to team & management. LOTTO: The St. Brendan's Hurling Club / Ardfert G.A.A. lotto Jackpot last week was €3,600. The numbers drawn were 12, 16, 21, 26.  There was no winner. The draw took place in Curby's Bar. The lucky dip winners were:

ALL IRELAND MINOR B FINAL: St. Brendan's & Kerry minor hurler Fionan Mackessy lived the dream last Saturday at the Eire Og grounds in Nenagh when he climbed the steps to accept the winners trophy. Fionan as Captain led the Kerry minor hurlers to victory after a tough encounter with Meath. Aidan O Mahony who is one of our senior selectors also played a valuable part with the team as a selector with Manager Ian Brick & selector Stephen Goggin(Causeway) & was duly acknowledged by Fionan in his acceptance speech. Final score 3-18 to 2-15. A memorable homecoming in Ardfert village was well attended & thanks to Dominic Dineen & Jeremiah Clifford for all their help with that. 

NK U16 FINAL St. Brendan's v Lixnaw goes ahead this Thursday evening in Abbeydorney at 6.30pm & we wish the team & management the best of luck.

CO. MINOR CHAMPIONSHIP REPLAY St. Brendan's v South Kerry goes ahead this Sunday 14th in Kilgarvan. Time TBC. Once again the very best of luck to all the team & management. 

ARDFERT HARVEST CYCLE: The inaugural Ardfert Harvest Cycle will occur between 10am – 3 pm this Saturday 13th September 2014. All owners and guardians of pets and animals along the route are asked to ensure that all gates, doors or access points to roads are closed securely- so the animals cannot access the roads. This will greatly enhance the safety and enjoyment of the cyclists and the event.  The areas that the event will be covering include: Ardfert, Tubrid, Abbeydorney, Ballinclogher Cross, Lerrig,  Ballyduff, Causeway, Ballyheigue (and Kerry Head), Banna Cross, Churchill and Listrim. Your cooperation is gratefully appreciated.

COMHALTAS: Enrolment for music lessons & AGM will take place on Tuesday 16th September in Cuil Mhuire (beside Ardfert Church) at 7:30pm. €55 for 10 lessons plus €6 Comhaltas Membership. Lessons will begin on Monday 29th September in Ardfert 


CHURCHGATE COLLECTION: The Annual Kerry GAA Churchgate collection will be taken up at all masses throughout the county (with the exception of Gneeveguilla and Rathmore) on the weekend of 13th/14th September. Funds wil go towards the training of the Kerry Senior and Minor Football teams for the All Ireland finals.
