BANNA 10K & 5K ROAD RACE & FUN RUN: Sunday 31 July 2016.  Start time: 9:30am for both 10K & 5K. There will be a number of walkers for 10K distance, starting at 9:00am. On-line registration: 10K (€20) & 5K (€10). Parking available next to registration centre, or at any of the car parks at Banna. Starting line for both 10K & 5K is approx. 500m from registration place, so it can be used for warm up walk/jog. 10K Road Race distance is restricted to over 18 only! (AAI permit). 5K Fun Run is available to all.

MOBILE APP DEVELOPMENT SUMMER CAMP running in Ardfert Community Centre from 8th – 12th August (10am – 12pm). Learn to build Android apps such as games, quizzes, SMS apps and more.  Bring your own laptop and if you've got an Android tablet, bring that too to download your apps onto.  Contact SinĂ©ad on 086-8307698.  50 Euros per child with a 50% deposit required to secure your child's place (non-refundable).

CAMPAI SAMHRAIDH / SUMMER CAMP: Ă“gras, the oldest Irish language youth organisation, will run Summer Camps at Listowel Community Centre and Ballyheigue Community Centre from July 25 – 29 to encourage young people aged 7 to 12 to practise their Irish in a fun environment.  Camp will run from 10am to 2.30pm with a trip on Thursday.  Participants will engage in a wide range of activities including conversational practice, hurling, football, soccer, basketball, hockey, volleyball, badminton, tennis, drama, music, table quiz and art.  Cost is €50 for first participant and €45 for second and subsequent family participants.  Cost of trip and camp & t-shirt included.
