RECOVERY HAVEN / KERRY FAMILY GAMESHOW This Friday night September 30th, the Recovery Haven Kerry Family Gameshow takes place at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel. The night sees nine families taking to the stage and competing against each other. The game comprises of two rounds with five questions in each round. Round one will be fun general knowledge questions similar to that of “Family Fortune” while round two tests how well each family know each other. It promises to be an excellent night of entertainment, and one people of all ages will enjoy equally. Local families include O’Halloran Family, Ardfert, with Tony as Captain, Ferris Family, Barrow (Toireasa), Collins Family, Kilmoyley, (Laura), Wallace Family, Ardfert (Ruth). 
Andrew Morrissey of Radio Kerry will be MC on the night. The show starts at 8pm with doors opening at 7pm. Tickets (€20) will be available on the door. Finger Food will be provided at the interval and there will be entertainment after the show. This will be an entertaining night generating much needed funds for the free services at Recovery Haven Kerry, Cancer Support House.

ARDFERT KILMOYLEY COMMUNITY GAMES: The Ardfert/Kilmoyley Community Games AGM is to be held this Wednesday, 28th Sept. at 8.30pm  in Cul Mhuire- ( next to Ardfert Church).  All welcome to attend.

All lectures are held at Ardfert Retreat Centre and while there is no formal charge, all those attending are requested to make a donation at the door to go towards the upkeep of the Retreat Centre. All lectures commence at 8.00p.m. Beidh fáilte roimh ghach éinne.

ARDFERT PARISH / CHANGES TO MASS TIMES: the following changes to Masses will apply in our Parish from Saturday 1 October.  
(i) Weekend Mass in Kilmoyley church will be on Saturdays and the eves of Holy Days at 7 pm.  If a Holy Day falls on a Monday, Mass will be on Monday at 7 pm. 
(ii) Weekend Mass in Ardfert church will be on Sundays and Holy Days at 11am.
(iii) Weekday Masses will be as announced.  
(iv) Masses from Saturday 1 October will be Masses of shared intentions, ie more than one Mass intention can be offered – we will endeavour to offer Month’s Mind and 1st Anniversary Masses as a sole intention 
(v) As there are less Masses available, please consider having one Mass offered for all deceased members of your family
(vi) Funeral Masses will continue to take precedence over anniversary Masses.
